About the role

This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with CTO to shape and implement the company’s long-term technical direction
  • Improve decision-making processes for architectural reviews and standards
  • Serve as a technical advisor, clarifying ambiguous problems and guiding tradeoffs
  • Mentor senior engineers to expand their influence and judgment
  • Represent the CTO’s technical perspective in architecture and product discussions
  • Support strategic conversations with customers and partners requiring technical depth
  • Identify and advocate for emerging technologies that enhance customer experience

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as an Architect, Principal Engineer, or equivalent senior technical leader
  • Deep expertise in large-scale distributed systems, edge computing, CDN, or cloud infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to set technical vision and translate it into architecture and standards
  • Strong judgment across technical, operational, and business tradeoffs
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts simply
  • Prowed track record of mentoring technical talent and increasing their impact
  • Ability to influence across teams without relying on formal authority
