Architect Level II (Licensed or Non-Licensed) - Bush Construction (Davenport, IA)

About the role

Bush Construction is seeking an experienced Architect Level II to join our growing design team. This position is responsible for leading technical design aspects of assigned projects, providing professional architectural consultation throughout the planning, design, and coordination of large or complex projects, and collaborating with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and recommend design solutions that best meet each client's needs
• Provide professional architectural consultation throughout the planning, design, and coordination of large or complex projects
• Independently exercise advanced technical judgment to solve complex design challenges and deliver innovative solutions
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced architectural staff

Requirements

• Professional degree in Architecture
• Licensed or non-licensed
• At least 6 years of related experience
• Strong leadership, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit
• Above average skills in organization, written and verbal communication, analysis, and problem-solving
• Proficiency with Revit, Lumion, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Create Suite, Canva and Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated experience using project management collaboration platforms to coordinate projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

• Professional licensure is preferred; however, qualified non-licensed candidates are encouraged to apply
