Job Details
We are seeking a Permanent Architect K-12 to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. As a leading firm in educational construction, we are dedicated to creating innovative and functional spaces that inspire and nurture young minds. Responsibilities
Architecture Design: Develop creative and practical architectural designs for K-12 educational facilities, including creating floor plans, elevations, and 3D models that meet specific needs and requirements.
Project Management: Oversee the entire architectural process from concept development to construction administration, coordinating with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
AutoCAD and Revit: Use AutoCAD and Revit to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings and models.
Educational Construction: Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes and standards, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and regulations associated with building K-12 facilities.
Collaboration: Work closely with a team of architects, engineers, and designers to develop comprehensive design solutions, participating in design charrettes, brainstorming sessions, and client meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field. A Master's Degree is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect, with a focus on K-12 educational facilities, and a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Strong Design Portfolio: Demonstrate ability to develop innovative and functional architectural designs for K-12 educational facilities.
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
Leadership Abilities: Possess strong leadership skills and be able to manage and motivate a team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior architects and designers.
