Position Overview

This position will research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for our clients. We work with a variety of healthcare providers in diverse environments including senior living, hospitals, emergency rooms, urgent care, medical office buildings, imaging centers, and laboratories. Background in architecture with technical expertise to create and develop detailed construction documents applying their knowledge of and experience with building codes, building systems, FGI and Life Safety Codes, site planning, zoning, bid packages, submittals, fieldwork, project scheduling, budgeting, and cost estimating.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as a trusted client liaison with excellent listening skills, attention to detail, and the ability to capture and translate clients' needs into actionable design solutions.
  • Interface with project managers, project teams, consultants, and clients.
  • Work in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
  • Conduct site planning and zoning research.
  • Provide code review and analysis for projects related to healthcare occupancies.
  • Create detailed plans for complex architectural construction drawings.
  • Utilize Revit to develop project designs, plans, and technical solutions for projects.
  • Utilize Bluebeam for drawing review process.
  • Prepare and coordinate bid packages.
  • Confer with consultants to ensure fully coordinated drawing packages.
  • Perform and/or oversee construction administration tasks, including submittal review, fieldwork, and documentation.
  • Maintain and comply with company and client project standards.
  • Congnorate with QA/QC team to ensure quality and complete work.
  • Provides leadership and mentorship to draftspersons and technicians, if applicable, and evaluates their work.

Experience

  • Eight (8) or more years of architecture work experience is required.
  • Two (2) or more years of healthcare project experience.
  • Proficient in the use of Revit to effectively produce quality documents.
  • Experience working in Bluebeam to develop and detail construction documents.
  • Architectural license preferred or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Hybrid work format (3 days in office; 2 days remote).

An authentic studio culture that values teamwork, flexibility, and a shared passion for design.

Must be able to navigate project sites.

Valid driver's license.

English language communication and client interface skills.

Legally eligible to work in the United States, without need for sponsorship.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an NCARB accredited program
