About the role
The Architect – Data Architecture role serves as a technical leader for IU Health’s Data Acquisition team. This position is full time with flexibility on work schedule, but candidates local to Indiana are preferred. The team focuses on building scalable, configuration-driven data architecture and ELT frameworks that efficiently move data from source systems into downstream analytics environments. Current initiatives include supporting IU Health’s Epic data ecosystem and advancing the Common Data Model (CDM) program.
Responsibilities
- Produces the detail surrounding accepted EA frameworks and logical system designs.
- Uses guiding principles & architectural policies to produce solution designs that anchor to IT portfolio standards and ensure long-term operational and administrative efficiencies.
- Analyzes and directs the work of development teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Ensures delivery teams are equipped with the leadership and guidance necessary to successfully deliver their solutions.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience developing Data Architecture (specifically ELT and configuration driven architectures).
- Expert skills and extensive experience with SQL, Python, and Databricks.
- Extensive experience working in Agile project delivery methodology.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience required.
- Knowledge of EA frameworks and design tools.
- Deep expertise in at least one technology domain.
