Architect / Co-Owner

About the role

We are looking to hire an Architect to support our growing team. Ideal candidates will be licensed Architects who have a passion for the construction industry and enjoy selling quality projects. Our Architects are part of the sales process, assisting our Commercial Project Managers through the design aspect of the project.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Sales/Project Management team in acquiring new customers and related projects for design and construction
• Create architectural plans, specifications, and drawings
• Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders
• Perform architectural duties including programming, schematic design, and design development
• Direct the production of construction documentation by the Architectural staff
• Select and specify exterior finish requirements
• Collaborate with the Interior Design team for interior material and spatial design
• Evaluate building designs for compliance with the International Building Code and all referenced codes
• Collaborate on civil design efforts such as building location, circulation, wayfinding, and landscaping
• Communicate and collaborate with the architectural and construction teams to find creative and innovative solutions
• Review A&E forms
• Review redlined drawings for compliance
• Conduct code research

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture
• Licensed Architect
• Minimum of 5-7 years in the construction industry
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to communicate with outside customers and subcontractors as well as all levels of internal management and coworkers
• Ability to balance demand and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter who is accountable for results
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about the construction industry and enjoys selling quality projects. They should have a strong background in architecture and experience working in Revit. The successful candidate will be part of the sales process, assisting our Commercial Project Managers through the design aspect of the project.
