Architect-Business Development Lead
About the role
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for expanding Dewberry Architects' client base in the Tulsa area and beyond. They will focus on healthcare, education, municipal, and federal markets.
Responsibilities
- Research and establish meetings with prospective clients
- Attend company and client functions to generate and nurture business relationships
- Report on leads and progress in pursuing business opportunities
- Understand and connect Dewberry's capabilities to potential clients
- Collaborate with experienced architects and marketing leaders to grow the firm's presence in the market
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, preferably in the A/E field
- Working knowledge of the Tulsa and Texas markets
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to pass a driving record background check
Qualifications
- Deemed degree holder
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable generating and nurturing business relationships
- Skilled in looking ahead and building on past experiences

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and databases
