About the role
The ArcGIS Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the ArcGIS software suite within the organization. This includes system administration tasks, user support, and ensuring data integrity and security.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain ArcGIS software installations across multiple departments
- Provide technical support to users and resolve issues related to ArcGIS applications
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular audits and backups
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate ArcGIS solutions with existing systems
- Train end-users on new features and updates in ArcGIS
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ArcGIS system administration
- Experience with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Desktop
- Strong understanding of GIS concepts and data management
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL databases and GIS data modeling
- Experience with cloud-based GIS services
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of ArcGIS software
- Experience with GIS data analysis and visualization tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
