ArcelorMittal to open building products office in Georgia
ArcelorMittal Building Solutions designs and manufactures building envelope systems used to insulate and protect warehouses, factories, data centers, and commercial buildings. The company is establishing its North American headquarters and a new manufacturing facility in Bibb County, Georgia, with an initial investment of over $55 million, creating up to 70 new jobs. Plans include an additional $50 million investment and up to 70 more jobs in the coming years.
About the Role
The new facility in Macon, Georgia, will serve as the North American headquarters and manufacturing operation for ArcelorMittal Building Solutions. It will include a new training facility and is expected to commence operations in the second half of next year, subject to customary permitting and approvals.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and manufacture of building envelope systems for warehouses, factories, data centers, and commercial buildings.
- Contribute to advanced insulated panel manufacturing with a focus on speed, reliability, and consistent quality.
- Engage in regional operations, including production, training, and customer support.
