ARC Sorter/Processor

Responsibilities

• Aid in the sorting room operation by assisting with sorting saleable from unsaleable items.
• Deliver a minimum of 300 store quality garments per hour.
• Categorize and box seasonal clothing, bric, and shoes.
• Hang and tag all sorted merchandise.
• Price all sorted merchandise.
• Sort and clean all saleable miscellaneous merchandise donations daily.
• Ticket all merchandise and assign an individual fair market price for each item.
• Process to the store a minimum of 25 pieces/sets per hour.
• Sort and clean all saleable shoes, handbags and accessory donations daily.
• Ticket all merchandise and assign an individual fair market price for each item.
• Measure and ticket all saleable linen items daily as required.
• Sort and clean all saleable merchandise daily as required.
• Ticket all merchandise and assign an individual fair market price for each item.
• Test and price all saleable electrical and furniture donations as required.
• Record required information and assign a fair market price for each furniture item.
• Rag out merchandise in accordance with the Territorial ARC Rag Out Calendar.

Requirements

• Processing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of clothing quality and price.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Can lift 50 pounds.
