ARC Sales and Production Associate

Responsibilities

• Aid in creating a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintain good customer relationships.
• Assist with store operations, serve all customers in a courteous and efficient manner, handle all donations with care, and handle merchandise as directed.
• Maintain the store’s stock and ensure it is “ragged out” according to the “ARC COMMAND RAG OUT CALENDAR.”
• Clean and maintain the store property.
• Report theft, customer complaints, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Be familiar with and adhere to the Guide to Thrift Store & Donation Center Operations manual.
• Support the work therapy program by providing professional conduct, work habits, and supervision to beneficiaries.
• Perform cashier/sales floor duties including cash handling, sorting, pricing, stocking, and restocking merchandise.
• Handle miscellaneous merchandise donations, sort and clean them, and price them accordingly.
• Sort, clean, and test electrical and furniture donations, and price them appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, bathrooms, entry, windows, sidewalks, and parking areas.
• Receive and receipt donated materials efficiently and maintain their cleanliness.
• Perform lawn and garden work as needed.
