Job Summary
Arbor Masters is seeking a certified arborist for their Shawnee branch. The Arbor Advisor will focus on sales, profitability, and community growth through tree care and plant health services.
Responsibilities
- Possessing a passion for tree cultivation and being knowledgeable about tree and plant care
- Prospecting for new clients on an ongoing basis
- Conducting in-person and swing-by consultations to provide proposals for tree care and plant health care services
- Performing tree risk assessments
- Developing and implementing tree care plans
- Identifying common signs of disease or pest infestations
- Communicating proposed and accepted sales goals with the Branch Manager weekly
- Working with Accounts Receivable to manage “day of service” terms and collections
- Visiting crews on jobs as needed or requested by clients for quality control and liaison purposes
- Proactively communicating with clients and addressing any issues
- Following all safety procedures
Qualifications
- 5 years tree industry experience
- ISA Certified Arborist Certification required
- Extensive knowledge of tree and plant care standards and best practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to research, diagnose, and communicate complex tree problems and treatments
- Basic math skills and understanding of business financials
