Arabic Translator & Transcreator

About the role

HireArt is helping our client hire an Arabic Translator & Transcreator to translate and adapt English-language content into Arabic across a variety of channels, including website pages, blog posts, press releases, marketing materials, and social media copy. This role requires more than direct translation; you’ll create natural, culturally relevant Arabic content while preserving the original brand voice, meaning, and intent. Much of the source content includes technical and product-specific language, so precision, strong linguistic judgment, and close attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate can determine when content should be translated literally and when it should be adapted for cultural resonance.

Responsibilities

• Translate and adapt English-language website, blog, press release, marketing, and social media content into Arabic.
• Produce natural, culturally relevant Arabic copy while preserving brand voice, meaning, and intent.
• Adapt messaging when direct translation would not effectively resonate with Arabic-speaking audiences.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across technical, product-specific, and brand terminology.
• Identify and flag terminology, phrases, or concepts that do not translate cleanly and recommend appropriate alternatives.

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in Arabic
• Strong English proficiency
• Proven experience translating, localizing, or transcreating marketing, product, website, or other branded content
• Ability to provide examples of previous localization work
• Strong understanding of cultural nuance and Arabic language usage
• Excellent attention to detail and linguistic accuracy
• Ability to accurately interpret and adapt technical and product-specific terminology
• Strong judgment in balancing literal translation with culturally appropriate transcreation

Nice to Have

• Experience localizing content for technology, consumer products, or global brands
• Familiarity with localization workflows, glossaries, or style guides

Pay

55.00 USD per hour

Schedule

This is an ongoing independent contract position, remote and available to U.S.-based candidates, with a preference for those able to work PST hours.
