About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children with autism
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
- Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
- Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques
- Provide comprehensive training to ensure you are equipped to help each child
- Work in a team environment
- Be patient, compassionate, and able to handle unpredictable and potentially confrontational situations
- Exercise regularly as part of the job
- Stand, walk, sit, grasp, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Make a meaningful impact on the life of a child and their family
Requirements
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient and compassionate
- Able to work well in a team
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification, and a tuberculosis test (if not done in the last year)
- Pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Arabic (not required)
Skills
- Experience working as a: Behavioral Technician, Working in some capacity with children with autism or other learning disabilities, Teacher’s Aid, Tutor, CNA, Caregiver or Home Health Aide

Pay
The pay range for this position is $17 - $20 per hour.
