AR Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

This is an opportunity to take ownership of critical financial and legal processes within a structured and professional team. The role involves managing and tracking bankruptcy and foreclosure accounts from start to resolution, performing ledger adjustments, audits, and account reconciliations, reviewing, processing, and releasing liens, coordinating with legal counsel, posting payments, maintaining accurate financial documentation, communicating with residents and internal teams on sensitive account matters, and maintaining detailed records while ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track bankruptcy and foreclosure accounts from start to resolution
• Perform ledger adjustments, audits, and account reconciliations
• Review, process, and release liens in accordance with policy
• Cook with legal counsel on claims, filings, and case updates
• Post payments and maintain accurate financial documentation
• Communicate with residents and internal teams on sensitive account matters
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all regulations

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in:
• Bankruptcy, foreclosure, OR default/collections processes
• Strong understanding of:
• Case timelines
• Legal documentation
• Account/ledger management
• Experience in HOA, property management, mortgage servicing, or legal support strongly preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to manage a high-volume workload with accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with Yardi

Qualifications

• Experience with liens (processing/releasing)
• VMS or similar system experience
• CLDP certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
