AR Specialist
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and ensure customer account activity is documented correctly.
- Apply incoming payments to the appropriate invoices and reconcile posted transactions with supporting records.
- Monitor outstanding balances and communicate with business clients regarding overdue accounts and payment status.
- Review account details regularly to identify discrepancies and help resolve billing or payment issues promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth cash application and account maintenance processes.
- Prepare receivable-related reports and provide updates on collection activity and account trends.
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar accounting support role.
- Working knowledge of financial recordkeeping and payment posting procedures.
- Experience handling business-to-business collections and customer account follow-up.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate data and documentation.
- Good communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy office environment.
