This Accounts Receivable Specialist I will focus on cash application, payment reconciliation and customer account management while partnering with Billing, Sales and Collections. If you have experience applying cash, resolving payment discrepancies and working in an ERP system, this could be a great opportunity to put your accounting skills to work. What's the Job? Accurately apply daily cash receipts, including checks, ACH, wire transfers and Square payments, to customer accountsReconcile payment discrepancies and resolve unapplied or misapplied cashMonitor unapplied cash and unidentified payment reportsPartner with Billing and operational teams to ensure invoices are accurate and delivered to the correct customersWork with customers and third-party processing agents to resolve past-due invoicesInvestigate short payments and communicate balance-due invoices to customersRespond to inquiries from the Collections teamProvide customers with banking and payment informationMaintain knowledge of EDI orders, ASNs, invoices and customer payment portalsAssist with additional AR and accounting projects as needed What's Needed?
