Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and post daily customer payments and deposits
- Issue credit memos and apply adjustments in accordance with established procedures
- Generate and distribute monthly customer statements
- Perform account reconciliations for assigned accounts, including higher-volume or priority accounts
- Investigate and resolve routine discrepancies related to payments, credits, and account balances
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to address payment inquiries and support collection efforts
- Submit and track freight claims as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting systems and supporting documentation
- Identify and communicate process inefficiencies, recurring issues, or discrepancies to supervisor
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of AR processes
- Support cross-training efforts and share knowledge and best practices with team members
- Perform other duties within the scope of Accounts Receivable functions as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–4 years of relevant accounts receivable, accounting, or finance experience
