Event Details
The event is organized by the Aquileia Foundation, the Archaeology, Fine Arts, and Landscape Superintendence of Friuli Venezia Giulia, and all active universities in Aquileia. The opening hours are:
- Area of the Great Thermae: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Basilica excavation site: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Forum area: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Visiting Information
Professors Matteo Cadario and Marina Rubinich will be present at the site of the Great Thermae, where the DIUM works. This year, Dr. Antonio Dell'Acqua, along with his students and collaborators, will present ongoing investigations in the area of the Roman Basilica. Dr. Alessandro Mortera will lead the tours in the Forum area.
Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, hat, and water are recommended. Entry is free without reservation. Check the program for all planned activities during European Archaeology Days in Aquileia.
