About the role
The Aquatics Director is responsible for overseeing all aquatic programs and facilities at Coppermine Health & Fitness.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the aquatics department including lifeguarding, swim lessons, and water safety programs.
- Develop and implement aquatic programming to meet the needs of the community.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Manage staff and volunteers, providing training and supervision.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aquatic Education, Physical Education, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aquatic management or equivalent.
- Valid lifeguard certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management.
- Knowledge of health and wellness trends and best practices.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with aquatic facility management software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Pay
$50,000 annually.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts.
