About the role
The Aquatic Technician I position is available within our community management company, CCMC, which specializes in master-planned communities. Our core values—Integrity, Respect, Service, and Community—are central to how we inspire a resident-centric focus.
Responsibilities
- Operating pool equipment according to standard procedures and manufacturer recommendations
- Maintaining all community aquatic facilities through routine system upkeep and equipment repairs
- Cleaning aquatic structures by brushing, skimming, vacuuming, backwashing, water testing, and administering chemicals
- Performing contaminant removal
- Upholding cleanliness and safety standards of surrounding areas including decks and beaches where applicable
- Complying with OSHA regulations as trained
- Utilizing a wide variety of tools to ensure a clean recreational space
- Extending top-notch service to residents and guests
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of aquatic facility and system repair maintenance
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, follow plans, and maintain records
- Ability to use a wide variety of cleaning and repair tools
- Energy, a great attitude, and strong work ethic
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work after-hours and weekends as needed
- Plumbing knowledge is preferred
Qualifications
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits
