Aquarium & Aviary Service Representative
About the role
We are seeking an entry-level aquarium and aviary servicer for our rapidly growing company. The role involves servicing aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, typically 8am to 7pm, but varying from month to month.
Responsibilities
- Well organized and possess excellent time management skills
- Professional appearance with excellent communication skills
- Effectively communicate company products and services
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Inner drive and desire to exceed goals
- Respond to calls, emails, faxes to take care of customer needs
- Able to make an efficient work schedule
- Manage service cycle for customer base
Requirements
- Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need
- Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance
- Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team-oriented environment
- Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English
- Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities
- Able to travel in your service area radius
- Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required
- Flexibility is a must!
- High School education is preferred
- Driver’s License required
