Aquarium & Aviary Service Representative

About the role

We are a rapidly growing aquarium and aviary service company. This role involves servicing aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The position is entry-level and requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Physical demands include heavy lifting, bending, and many other physical activities.

Responsibilities

  • Well organized and possess excellent time management skills

  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

  • Respond to calls, emails, faxes to take care of customer needs
  • Able to make an efficient work schedule

Requirements

  • Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred
  • Great attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need
  • Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance
  • Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English
  • Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude
  • Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities
  • Able to travel in your service area radius
  • Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required
  • Flexibility is a must!
  • High School education is preferred
  • Driver’s License required
