About the Role
Hillsborough YMCAs are seeking energetic Aqua Exercise Instructors to support the mission of strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This fully on-site role focuses on transforming minds by fostering a healthy mind and body in a group setting.
Responsibilities
- Creates and instructs water aerobics in a group setting.
- Monitors and educates patrons on fitness and safety.
- Maintains a positive, supportive, and enjoyable atmosphere.
Requirements
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire.
- AEA and NETA Certification required (AEA or ASFA certification preferred but not required).
- Must be punctual and possess strong communication skills.
- Ability to attract and retain new members.
