Responsibilities
Working with a team to develop control system components (LRUs) and electronic controller for a new APU program.
Executing and documenting trade studies.
Develop and implement the MBSE and digital engineering architecture for a new APU controls development program.
Integrating control system with APU.
Control system requirements development, analysis, decomposition, and validation.
Develop and implement control algorithms and software for APUs.
Control system design, integration, and validation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or aerospace engineering.
8+ years of systems engineering experience in support of safety-critical aerospace development.
Strong knowledge and understanding of control systems engineering principles and processes.
Experience with control system design, implementation, and testing.
Experience with control system development for aerospace applications.
Experience providing hands-on coaching, training, and day-to-day support for engineering team members.
Knowledge of APU systems and their integration into aircraft.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to control systems in aerospace applications.
Self-motivation to work with little supervision and take the initiative to complete tasks.
Ability to change course based on new information and direction.
Ability to make autonomous decisions.
