APRN - NEUROSURGERY

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: A Masters degree in nursing is required.
• Licensed by Arkansas State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Clinical Nurse Specialist.
• Certification by national certifying body with prescriptive privileges.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience: Three to five years experience in hospital medicine preferred.

PHYSICAL

• Normal hospital environment.
• Exposure to biological hazards.
• Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors.
• Close eye work.
• Hearing of normal and soft tones.
• Distinguish smells.
• Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity.
• May be exposed to airborne and infectious materials.
• Required to stand, walk, sit, push and pull, use fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
