Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient care to adult and senior patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Diagnose and manage moderately to complex medical conditions.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists.
- Participate in clinical quality improvement programs.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent care.
- Exercise independent clinical judgment in patient management.
Requirements
- Day shift-40 hours per week.
- Annual CME Allowance.
- Health/Dental/Vision Insurance.
- PTO.
- FREE Tuition to the University of Louisville for dependants.
Benefits
- Must have Master of Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure in state of Kentucky as an APRN.
- Current DEA certificate without restriction.
- Current BLS certification.
- Must be ACLS certified.
Education & Certification
- Current National certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Able to critically think through complex patient situations, process improvements, evidence-based practice.
- Able to assist others in developing clinical reasoning skills.
- Computer Skills: Required - Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred - Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Specialized Programs: Must be able to use specialized programs as required by the hospital.
