Apprentice Parts Consultant

Responsibilities

• Utilize CRM and ERP software to process customer invoicing, create purchase orders, track inventory, and support warehouse functions.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Provide parts support for Caterpillar, vendors, customers, and internal departments.
• Develop and maintain general knowledge in forklift and material handling equipment operation.
• Make appropriate recommendations and provide creative solutions for all customer needs.
• Work overtime and on-call as needed.

Requirements

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• One year of parts sales, parts warehouse, or combined experience required, industry experience preferred.
• Six years of experience using inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP).
• Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write in English.
• Additional compensation offered for Bi-Lingual candidates.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods of time along with walking, sitting, repetitively climbing stairs, reaching (including but not limited to above-shoulder reaching), repetitive bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, leaning and twisting.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 60lbs.
• Meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies.

Skills

• General knowledge in forklift and material handling equipment operation.
• Effective organizational and problem-solving skills.
