What You’ll Do
- Assist with vehicle preparation, including sanding, masking, and surface cleaning
- Support experienced painters with mixing, blending, and paint application tasks
- Learn proper use of refinishing tools, equipment, and safety procedures
- Help maintain a clean, organized paint booth and work area
- Participate in training and hands-on learning to develop your refinishing skills
- Follow OEM and shop guidelines to ensure high-quality, consistent results
What We’re Looking For
- Interest in automotive painting and collision repair
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions in a hands-on environment
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Able to maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous shop or paint prep experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 80 lbs and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, squatting, and standing for long periods
- Comfortable working around chemicals, fumes, noise, and heat/cold
Certifications Preferred
- I-CAR certification
- ASE certification (a plus)
