About the role

Signet Jewelers, the world’s largest specialty retailer of diamond jewelry, is currently seeking entry-level Jeweler Apprentices to join our Field Design & Service Center Teams!

Responsibilities

• Learn the business from the ground up, including full administrative responsibilities such as customer service, interacting with both our stores and customers, completing administrative/clerical tasks, photography of jewelry for intake/tracking
• Gain foundational knowledge in jewelry repair starting with polishing and quality control
• Advance from Apprentice to Jeweler through a full training program
• Work in a promote-from-within environment that values advancement based on skill development and performance
• Deliver a Customer-First experience that exceeds customers' expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs

Requirements

• A high school degree or equivalent preferred but not required
• Variety of hours including some nights and weekends
• Full-time consists of a 40-hour work week with seasonal required overtime

Qualifications

• Customer service minded with strong interpersonal skills
• High standard for quality work
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

Skills

• Basic knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design is preferred but not required
