About the Resort

Seasonal work at Big Bear Mountain Resort places you in the heart of Southern California's premier outdoor destination. The resort features three mountains—Bear Mountain, Snow Summit, and Snow Valley—offering year-round activities, including world-class skiing, snowboarding, sledding/tubing in winter, and mountain biking, hiking, and golf in summer. Known for innovation, Big Bear boasts the most rideable terrain in Southern California, the region's only halfpipes, the highest lift-served peak (8,805 feet), and historic milestones like the first terrain park in North America (1992) and the first Winter X Games (1997). Located in the San Bernardino National Forest, the resort is approximately 100 miles from Los Angeles and Orange County and 150 miles from San Diego.

About the Role

Responsible for completing the training process to teach children and/or adults how to ski and/or snowboard while supporting all Ski and Ride School departments. The role ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for guests and is based at either Snow Summit or Bear Mountain in Big Bear Lake. Starting wage ranges from $19.00/hr. to $20.88/hr. depending on experience.

• Effective communication skills, acting as a service ambassador for the company internally and externally
• Ability to read, understand, and comply with safety rules, procedure manuals, and guest policies
• Capability to operate equipment as trained
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and other varied schedules
