About the role

Observing, learning and understanding a wide range of skills and processes while under the instruction of a skilled electrician. As on-the-job training progresses, you will demonstrate these skills and processes by working independently or with others to undertake tasks as instructed. You will learn the importance of safety within the workspace and overall project(s), as well as the variety of tools and materials required for an electrician to complete tasks and projects. Responsibilities include maintaining general good housekeeping of the work area and utilizing required tools and equipment for each specific task.

Responsibilities

• Observe, learn, and understand electrical skills and processes under the guidance of a skilled electrician.
• Demonstrate learned skills independently or collaboratively as training progresses.
• Understand and prioritize safety within the workspace and across projects.
• Identify and use the appropriate tools and materials for electrical tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Utilize required tools and equipment for specific tasks.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of electrical experience.
• Strong understanding of quality and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to promote efficiency.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Regular onsite work in construction environments with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, heights, and confined spaces.
• Frequent climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, walking on uneven terrain, stooping, kneeling, and use of a respirator when required.
• Regional travel between projects may be required.
