Apprentice - Compliance Fuel Technician

Responsibilities
- Prepping the site for testing
- Setting up testing and safety equipment
- Removing manhole lids for underground storage tank access
- Driving a DOT registered commercial motor vehicle
- Performing a variety of fuel containment tests, equipment integrity tests, and leak-detection tests
- Traveling 2-3 weeks per month, home on the weekends
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a company-paid DOT physical & drug screen
- Must have a clean driving record
- Mechanical background, experience with hand tools, and trades or industrial/commercial settings are a plus
- Physical capability: lifting 10-50lbs, kneeling, bending, handling, reaching, and standing
- Independent work ability and effective communication skills
- Basic technology knowledge for documentation
