ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Work in accordance with Hanwha Philly Shipyard’s CORE principles
- Ensure that all HPSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to obtain weld certifications as specified for the welder, shipbuilder and/or outfitter position
- Learn cutting and grinding principles and techniques
- Attend all assigned instructor-led and online-assigned Related Technical Training (RTI) courses
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
