APPRENTICE

The Apprentice School at Newport News Shipbuilding offers comprehensive 4 and 5-year apprentice programs for aspiring shipbuilders. Established in 1919, the program has produced over 10,000 graduates supporting the Navy's operational needs.

The Apprentice School provides an educational and career opportunity in a dynamic and challenging environment. Apprentices work on building and maintaining nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and submarines for the U.S. Navy.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,856.00 to $74,172.80. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
