About the role

The Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) in New Delhi is seeking candidates for an IT position. The role involves working on various projects related to accelerator technology and scientific research.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions for accelerator systems
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to design and implement new technologies
• Contribute to project documentation and reports
• Perform system testing and debugging

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B.Tech/B.E) or Diploma in Information Technology (ITi)
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in IT or related field
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java
• Experience with Linux operating system and Git version control
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accelerator physics principles is beneficial but not mandatory
• Good understanding of scientific computing and data analysis
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
