About the Role
The Austin is a fast-growing, independently owned referral centre in Adelaide, well-received and expanding its services. We are seeking a Specialist Neurologist (boarded or board-eligible) to join our team. This role offers a flexible work environment where you can design your ideal mixture of responsibilities. The caseload primarily involves small animals, with occasional exotic and zoo animals (e.g., lions, capybaras, orangutans).
About The Austin
We are a vibrant team of experienced veterinary specialists in surgery (ECVS), internal medicine (ACVIM and ECVIM), diagnostic imaging (ECVDI, FANZCVS, and ACVR), and ophthalmology (FANZCVS, ECVO), supported by successful internships and residencies. Our team is carefully selected for their commitment to patient care and collaboration.
Our purpose-built hospital (1200m²) is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments, including multiple soft tissue and orthopaedic theatres within a dedicated surgical wing featuring positive airflow, a free-standing steam autoclave, and a low-temperature plasma steriliser. Theatres are fully equipped with advanced tools such as thoracoscopy, arthroscopic and laparoscopic towers, and a flat-panel C-arm for interventional radiology.
