About the role

Union Beer Distributing is currently seeking a Beers Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Long Island. This role involves selling, promoting, and growing our portfolio of craft, import, and domestic beers across the Long Island region.

Responsibilities

• Learning and becoming the expert with Union Beer's portfolio
• Developing a rapport with an assigned customer base and promoting the goodwill of the company
• Ensuring proper rotation and adherence to product codes
• Merchandising accounts with permanent and paper POS systems
• Conducting promotions in accounts as required
• Organizing and executing floor displays and window signage at all accounts
• Maintaining monthly sales goals related to business activities
• Making regular weekly appointments with accounts in the assigned area
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Preferred degree or equivalent work experience
• Good-humored, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Suite and ability to learn new applications
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to obtain a solicitor's permit
• Knowledge of Suffolk and Nassau counties

Qualifications

• Ability to drive and maintain a valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation for daily travel throughout the assigned territory

Benefits

Total compensation range including bonuses: $55,000 - $60,700 per year.

Schedule

The role requires daily travel throughout the assigned territory; candidates must have reliable transportation to efficiently visit multiple accounts per day. A valid driver's license is required. Car stipend provided.
