About the Role
Lead the daily operations of a bustling travel centre restaurant. You will ensure excellent customer service, manage a dedicated team, and maintain high standards of quality and safety. This is a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Determine the types of services offered and implement efficient operational procedures.
- Negotiate with clients for catering services or facility rentals.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other essential supplies.
Qualifications
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service setting.
- Proven experience supervising 5-10 people.
- Strong problem-solving and customer relations skills.
- Ability to manage inventory and supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols in food service.
Pay
$36.60 per hour for a 35-hour work week. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Schedule
The schedule includes early morning, day, evening, night, weekend, and shift work. Flexibility is required. This is an on-site role at the Golden Husky Travel Centre in Golden, BC.
