Location: Boston, MA – Multiple positions available
Schedule: 40 hours / week, 8:00am–5:00pm
Pay range: $161,803 – $193,200 per year. Base pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
About the role
Participate in the design, development, evaluation, deployment, and updating of data-driven models and analytical solutions for machine learning (ML) and/or natural language (NL) applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and/or apply statistical modeling techniques (e.g., Bayesian models and deep neural networks), optimization methods, and other ML techniques to business and engineering applications.
- Routinely build and deploy ML models on available data.
- Research and implement novel ML and statistical approaches to add value to the business.
- Mentor junior engineers and scientists.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field and one year of research or work experience in the job offered or as a Research Scientist, Research Assistant, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field and five years of research or work experience in a related occupation may substitute for the Master’s degree and one year of experience.
- One year of research or work experience in:
- Programming in Java, C++, Python, or an equivalent programming language.
- Conducting analysis and development of supervised and unsupervised machine learning models for moderately complex projects in business, science, or engineering.
