In this role, you will be managing a team working on Large Language Model (LLM) and/or Vision-Language Model (VLM) post-training and alignment for new shopping experiences. You'll be working with talented scientists, engineers, and technical program managers (TPM) to innovate on behalf of our customers.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of scientists or machine learning engineers management experience
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership
• 5+ years experience in machine learning, natural language processing, large language models, and/or distributed training infrastructure
• Experience with shipping models in production systems, including product development, deployment, and evaluation lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in LLM post-training (SFT and RL) a plus
• Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application
• Experience building complex software systems, especially involving deep learning, machine learning and computer vision, that have been successfully delivered to customers

Pay

• USA, CA, Palo Alto: 211,400.00 - 286,000.00 USD annually
• USA, WA, Seattle: 183,800.00 - 248,700.00 USD annually
