Applied Researcher I (AI Foundations, LLM Core and Agentic AI)

About the role

The role involves leading the development of back-end and full-stack software solutions using Python and Spark. This includes designing, implementing, and testing software components to ensure they meet the project requirements.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to define and implement software solutions.
• Leverage Python and Spark technologies to develop scalable and efficient software solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions using Python and Spark.
• Develop and maintain software components that integrate with other systems and services.
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to team members to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in code refactoring and optimization to improve system performance and scalability.
• Document software solutions and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

Strong programming skills in Python and Spark, experience with Agile methodologies, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field are required. Experience with full-stack development and familiarity with cloud-based technologies is preferred.

Pay

Salary range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Schedule

This role is full-time and requires a standard 40-hour workweek.
