Applied Machine Learning Scientist (Remote)

As an Applied Machine Learning Scientist, you will join our engineering team to innovate and expand our data science efforts, working with vast datasets and cutting-edge technologies to solve challenges in traffic, data storage, machine learning, and scalability.

• Innovate ML algorithms to maximize ROI and advertising performance, from creating new algorithms to improving state-of-the-art methods.
• Write production code, collaborating with Data Engineers to implement novel ML algorithms.
• Prototype algorithms and pipelines, test them using historical data, and iterate based on insights.

StackAdapt is a Remote First company, open to candidates located anywhere in North America. This role will remain open until February 20, 2026, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field (dual degrees a plus).
• Ability to break down ambiguously defined tasks into actionable steps.
• Comprehensive understanding of statistics, optimization, and machine learning.
• Proficiency in coding, data structures, and algorithms.
• Enjoy working in a collaborative, friendly environment.

Pay

Compensation reflects the expected base salary for candidates in the posting country, informed by market data and budget. Final offers will align with the candidate’s location and may include additional compensation such as bonuses, commissions, or equity awards.

• Canada Base Salary Band: $140,000 CAD - $192,500 CAD
• USA Base Salary Band: $128,000 USD - $176,000 USD
