Applied AI Product Engineer (Remote Opportunity)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered features for healthcare platforms
• Build full-stack apps with modern AI workflows (Cursor, Claude, Codex, OpenAI)
• Collaborate with product, design, and clinical stakeholders
• Develop APIs, backend services, automation pipelines, and AI workflows
• Apply DevOps/MLOps best practices for testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Research emerging AI technologies and LLM patterns
• Solve complex challenges in a fast-paced Agile environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field
• 2+ years professional software engineering or full-stack development
• Hands-on experience delivering 2-3 production-level AI projects (Cursor, Claude, Codex, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, RAG architectures
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work remotely in Agile

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, AI workflow automation
• Familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, scikit-learn)
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure automation, or healthcare tech
• Experience with VA, federal government, or payer/provider initiatives
• Ability to obtain a government clearance
