Applied AI Engineer - Federal (TS Required)

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy impactful Gen AI and ML solutions with customers, from scoping to deployment
• Develop and implement advanced AI systems including retrieval-augmented generation
• Create real-world datasets and evaluation workflows to ensure model reliability
• Manage relationships with customer leadership to ensure successful AI project development
• Collaborate with Solutions and Product teams to align customer needs with existing capabilities
• Standardize solutions with other Applied AI Engineers to enhance internal tools and practices
• Educate stakeholders on quantitative capacities and AI best practices

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or relevant field/experience
• 3+ years in customer-facing AI/ML solution design and implementation
• Strong proficiency in Python, including software engineering practices and modern libraries
• Expertise in Applied AI tools and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers)
• Experience leading customer initiatives and collaborating with business stakeholders
• Excellent presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences
• Active TS/SCI clearance required, with preference for candidates having SSBI and Polygraph

Pay

$160,000 – $250,000 annually
