Applications Specialist

Job Summary The Applications Specialist is responsible for preparing permit, utility and state application packages, tracking/recording all applications' progress, and maintaining positive relationships with municipalities and applicable organizations. An ideal candidate for the position will be amiable, detail-oriented, organized, dependable, motivated, and able to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. Supervisory Responsibilities None Duties/Responsibilities Prepare permit, utility and state application packagesAssist in compiling information necessary to complete application packagesTrack progress and update information in databaseReview and distribute documents and correspondencePerform administrative functions including but not limited to: incoming calls, copying, scanning, emailing, preparing shipments, and filingDevelop and maintain positive relationships with municipalities and applicable organizationsMay require permit running Required Skills/Abilities Exemplary interpersonal skillsProficient in various forms of communicationStrong organizational, time management, and prioritizing skillsConsistent thoroughness/attention to detailComputer Literacy (Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF)Notary Public preferred, but not required Education And Experience College degree preferred1+ year(s) of office experiencePermitting experience preferredSolar Admin experience preferred, but not required Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
