APPLICATIONS ENGINEERING, ARCHITECT
About the role
You will work at the intersection of deep technical expertise and customer engagement, focusing on understanding the customer’s real problem and proving you can solve it before they sign. Your role involves shaping technical approaches based on customer challenges, timelines, and past frustrations to de-risk evaluations and accelerate decisions.
You will partner with sales to win complex, high-stakes deals where your technical credibility is critical. Your experience debugging FPGA prototypes—addressing issues like partitioning, clock domains, and inefficient debug flows—will help you guide customers through their evaluations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Listen to customers to map their design challenges, timeline pressures, and tool frustrations, then shape technical approaches to address their needs.
- Lead technical deep-dives with senior architects and present ROI-focused solution overviews to VPs.
- Use your FPGA prototyping expertise to de-risk customer evaluations and accelerate decision-making.
- Work with sales teams to win deals by demonstrating technical credibility and problem-solving capabilities.
- Engage proactively with customers, asking the right questions and proposing clear paths forward, even in imperfect conditions.
Requirements
- Experience debugging FPGA prototypes, including partitioning, clock domain issues, and debug flow inefficiencies.
- Ability to lead technical discussions with senior architects and present solutions to executives.
- Strong customer engagement skills, with a focus on listening and understanding real problems before proposing solutions.
- Comfort working in high-stakes, fast-paced environments to move opportunities forward.
