Applications Engineer - Satellite & IoT
Skylo has pioneered a standards-based approach to satellite connectivity, connecting smartphones and IoT devices directly to satellites. Our direct-to-device service is live on millions of activated devices across five continents, covering more than 72 million square kilometers. At the heart of it all is Skylo's commercial NTN vRAN: a 3GPP standards-based, cloud-native platform bridging terrestrial and satellite networks. This role offers a rare chance to work on technology that matters at a company already proving it works.
About the role
As an Application Engineer for Satellite IoT, you'll serve as the primary technical bridge between Skylo and device manufacturers, chipset makers, and module partners. You'll guide OEMs through device design and integration, troubleshoot complex protocol and network issues, and build standardized tools and processes to streamline partner onboarding. This role blends hands-on technical support with program leadership, directly shaping how new devices reach the Skylo Network.
