Applications Engineer - Roswell, GA

About the Role

We are seeking Applications Engineers to acquire and apply in-depth knowledge of:

• Industrial Ventilation
• Air Pollution Control
• Pumping Systems
• Pneumatic Conveying
• Chemical Feed & Metering
• Explosion Prevention & Protection

The Applications Engineer supports Outside Sales and serves as a technical resource for customers. This position blends sales and technical work with a heavy emphasis on customer interaction and sales.

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with technical help and service
• Equipment selections and pricing
• System design
• Developing equipment quotations and technical proposals
• Field work and project management
• Direct interaction with prospective customers
• Equipment troubleshooting
• Presentations and problem solving

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering. Other disciplines will be considered, though Fluid Engineering’s products and applications are most closely related to these engineering fields.

• 3-5 years of related work experience is preferred
• Self-starter with a strong desire to interact with customers and prospects
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SolidWorks, and ACAD)
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
