Applications Engineer - Rentals

About the role

John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking an Applications Engineer for its Combustion Rental Team based in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will work to provide rental solutions in the vapor control, biogas, process flare, and thermal oxidizer markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage a fast-paced sales environment and respond quickly to customer needs.
• Own the client relationship and proposal generation process from initial contact to order acceptance.
• Create technical and commercial proposals that highlight the value of our equipment and services.
• Engage with customers in person and virtually to tailor rental solutions to diverse needs.
• Leverage the expertise of the John Zink and Koch Engineered Solutions global teams to develop unique solutions for clients.
• Work with the execution team to ensure accurate turnarounds and up-to-date schedules.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in creating long-term value for customers.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
• Safety certification to work with customers at their global manufacturing facilities.
• Passport and TWIC within 3 months of start date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Experience in engineering, sales, system/process design, or project management in an "engineered to order" manufacturing environment.
• Industry-specific knowledge in vapor, flaring, biogas, or thermal oxidizer markets.
• Previous experience in rental equipment business.
